Can I cut the underfloor heating mat?
The simple answer is yes.
The underfloor heating mat is made of a fibreglass mesh with the electrical heating element securely attached to it. When you are cutting the mat, you can easily remove the heating cable from the mesh and cut, carefully, underneath. Once the mat has been cut, you can reroute the cable and continue installation.
